Morocco has twelve
international airports: Agadir, Al Hoceima, Casablanca,
Dakhla, Fès, Laâyoune, Marrakech, Ouarzazate,
Oujda, Rabat-Salé, Tangier and Tétouan.
Royal Air Maroc
and other large international airlines and charter companies
provide frequent, rapid flights to Morocco from major cities
in Europe, North and South America and the Middle East.
For example, Casablanca is a one-hour flight from Madrid,
a three-hour flight from Paris and a six-and-a-half hour
flight from New York.

For overland transportation
to Morocco, head for Algésiras, Spain. You
can get there by car, motorcycle, bus or train. (Sleeper
trains that transport your automobile as well are available.)
Then cross the strait of Gibraltar by car-ferry to
Tangier (2.5 hr) or Ceuta (1.5 hr). It's also possible
to take a boat from Sète (France) to Tangier (36
hr) or from Almeria (Spain) to Nador or Melilla.

INFORMATION FOR AUTOMOBILES,
CAMPING CARS AND MOTOR BOATS
There are no special
requirements for automobilists. However it is against the
law to sell, pawn or rent your vehicle. Insurance is
required. Take out a policy ('carte verte') before your
departure or at the border. Cars, camping cars and
mobile homes from other countries must not remain on Moroccan
soil for over 6 months.
